- 4 chicken breasts
- Chicken rub
- 2 C flour
- Salt & pepper
- BBQ sauce
Smoked And Deep Fried Boneless Chicken Wings
Trim off any excess fat from the chicken breasts. Don’t be overzealous, just cut off the fat that usually hangs around the edge of the chicken breast. Then cut each breast into chunks.
Give the chunks a light coating of your favorite chicken rub.
Get your smoker ready! Temperature should be around 275℉, but do not worry too much since the chicken will cook very fast.
When the chicken is ready, it is time to give it that crispy chicken wing coating. In a bowl mix 2 cups of flour with salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of your rub. Have some buttermilk in another bowl. Coat each chicken chunk in the flour mix, then dip in the buttermilk and then in the flour once again.
Fry the chunks in boiling oil until they get a nice, reddish brown color.
Finally, cover the fried chicken with a BBQ sauce of your preference.
Honey Brined Smoked Chicken Thighs If you have never brined anything, well, you need to! Brining is very easy, it keeps your smoked chicken thighs extremely moist and it takes the flavor of your meat to a whole new level.
