This PBJ beef burger is not for the faint of heart, because although the combination may seem unlikely, we trust DJ BBQ when he says that it absolutely works! This sexy beast of a burger was conceptualized as a tribute to The King, Elvis Presley himself…
You will need

The King Burger – PBJ Beef Burger!
Get your pit up and running, this is going to be a wild ride!
First up, let’s crisp up some bacon. Lay it down over the hot coals, and try to contain yourself while you hear that fat sizzling… Yum!
Next up, grab a good chunk of minced beef – the meat that comes from the chuck is marbled with a lot of good fat, that’s gonna taste amazing when rendered down. Form the patty and season with just salt before throwing it on the grill.
While the meat is cooking, get a spoon and a small bowl. Mix a large spoonful of crunchy peanut butter with a spoonful of blackberry jam. Now, some of you are skeptical, but this is nothing new, and has been used by a few burger restaurants for years.
When the patty is just about ready, place a generous spoonful of that pb&j goodness on top, followed by 2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese. Cover with a bowl that can handle the heat (just keep in mind, it’s going to get hot as well…) and let that cheese melt over the pb&j and the patty.
Once everything is ready, it’s time to assemble ourselves a King Burger!
Spread some mayo on both the top and bottom buns as would probably be the wishes of the King himself. Place the pb&j topped, cheese coated patty on the bottom bun, followed by as much bacon as you can possibly stack on there.
Enjoy!

You have links on the bottom of the page I’d like to get to, but I keep getting that the IP address cannot be found. The reason for the problem is there is a / missing between .com and the next word. Any possibility of getting that corrected?
I tried it myself (entering the / by hand) and it does take me to the correct page after that.
I came here to look for a pastrami recipe, and your site has more than delivered! I’m going to love it here! 🙂
Thank you for the heads up! Yes adding the / should work. When we upgraded the site to be more secure, some of the old links broke. We’re working on fixing them throughout the site.
