Ready, set, GO! Get your Kamado Joe clean, and fill it up with your favorite brand of charcoal. Then light’em up! And yes, you’re going to have plenty of time to prep your chicken wings while the pit gets hot.

So, what do these tasty chicken bites need? Hit ’em with a coating of all-purpose rub.

Once the pit is hot and the wings are dusted, go and install the deflector plate on the Kamado. You wanna cook at around 350ºF.

Now simply dunk them wings on the smoker! They are going to cook FAST, so pay attention. At 350ºF it shouldn’t take longer than 40 minutes, just make sure to rotate once you have a nice color on one side.

Once they are done, it’s time for round 2 of seasoning! Give the wings a light coat of your favorite chicken rub or spice combo you like , then toss to cover evenly.

Pro Tip: can’t decide on which rub to use? Just do some wings one way, and some another. The more the merrier!
