Smoked Lamb Shoulder Recipe (Lamb Shoulder Roast)

Season the lamb roast with curry powder. Slice potatoes, onion and any other veggies you like, and put everything in a roasting pan. Place the meat on top of the veggies and pour about 1-2 inches of beef broth into the pan. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Place the roasting pan on a preheated smoker. Smoke at 300°F for about 20 minutes, then bring the temperature down to 250-275°F and let it cook for ~2 hours. Target internal temperature is 155-160°F. Turn the pan around a few times during the cook to make sure the heat spreads evenly.

When done, let the lamb rest for 10 minutes before serving.
