Here’s a simple guide on how to make hot sauce for your BBQ grill/smoked chicken wings. For the best result, use homegrown peppers. Either way, this is a phenomenal sauce that you won’t regret making!
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 2 jalapenos
- 1 green Habaneros
- 15 Cayenne peppers
- a teaspoon of finely grated sea salt
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- ½ cup of white vinegar
How To Make Hot Sauce (Fast, Fermented, Fiery)
Put the following ingredients in a jar: one shallot, 6 cloves of garlic, 2 jalapenos, 1 green Habaneros, 15 Cayenne peppers and about a teaspoon of finely grated sea salt. Secure the lid on the jar and shake it until the salt dissolves.
Put the jar in a dark, cool place to ferment for a week.
After a week has passed, pour the contents of the jar in a blender and blend until everything looks uniform (you might need to blend multiple times).
Pour everything into a cooking pan, and add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and ½ cup of white vinegar. Bring it to a boil, then lower the temperature to a simmer and reduce to 50%.
Pour the mix back into the blender and blend one more time.
Bottle the sauce or use it right away.
