How To Make Beef Bacon
Ingredients for curing rub:
- 1/2 c sea salt
- 3 T finely ground black pepper
- 3 T raw sugar
- 1/4 c pickling spice
- 3 t pink curing salt #1
Preferred meat is beef belly but this cut is usually a special order where I live and was unavailable at the time of this video so I used beef short rib instead.
Ingredients for smoking rub:
- Raw sugar
- Granulated garlic
- Cracked black pepper rub by Knox’s Spice Company
Smoker temp = 200F
Estimated Time = 3-4 hours
Internal meat temp = 150F
