Easy Smoked Beef Ribs (Salty, Spicy And Beefy)

This easy smoked beef ribs recipe is salty, spicy, and beefy, everything the ultimate beef ribs cook should provide for you. Buckle up, get your fire started, and give your taste buds a wild ride to flavor town with this incredible cook.

Season the ribs with

  • 1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed Jalapeno

Easy Smoked Beef Ribs – Salty, Spicy And Beefy

Set up your smoker and let it get up to temp while preparing the ribs. This will save you a significant amount of time. There are many options on the fire wood you can use with beef ribs- for this recipe Maple wood was used.

Time to prepare the ribs! Remove the silverskin from the bone side- this membrane does not allow the smoke (and therefore flavor) to penetrate the meat. Trim off any loose pieces hanging off the rack, but don’t be too meticulous about it.

Give the rib rack a light coating of olive or other vegetable oil. Then proceed to season with a mix of the ingredients listed above. Use up all of the rub, trying to season as evenly as possible on all sides.

Smoke the ribs at 250ºF. Depending on humidity levels in your area you might want to place a water pan next to the ribs to keep them moist during cooking. You can also spritz with apple juice every hour.

The cook should take around 8-9 hours total. If you are using a thermometer probe, pull the ribs off the cooker at 202ºF internal.
