Easy Classic BBQ Chicken Recipe FB

This is the original classic BBQ chicken recipe: no fancy sauce or special rubs, just pure back yard deliciousness! A great recipe for any occasion.

Get your grill up and running at 300-350 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the charcoal on one side of the grill, and add a piece of apple wood or any other wood you like.

Season the chicken legs with salt and pepper, and put them on the grill over indirect heat. Close the lid.

About one hour into the cooking, the legs should be almost done. Now is the time to baste them with BBQ sauce. When basting you want to apply very thin layers of sauce two or three times (every 5 minutes).

After one hour and fifteen minutes of total cooking time, the BBQ chicken legs should be ready. Pull the chicken off the grill, serve and enjoy!
