The BGE is one of the finest pits out there, however a big green egg table and/or cart can be quite pricey. So why not make your own? It really is this simple…

DIY Big Green Egg Table Nest For Under $100
In the video above you’ll find how to make your own big green egg table. You only need basic woodworking tools (and the skill to operate them).
It’s a great weekend project, the result of which you are going to enjoy for years to come. The best part? It will probably cost you less than $100 depending on where you get your wood from.
You will need a few things: A saw (a handsaw will work, but a power saw will make straighter cuts and result in a more stable build), a drill, and lumber of your choice (used here: pine)
What you do next is up to you. Customize your table to fit your needs and aesthetic preferences. Here are the specs chosen for this particular build:
Cart frame: W27 x L44x H39 – About 43″ high at the table top with the top and the casters.
Table top: 51/2 feet long X 3 feet wide
If you decide to coat the table with some sort of finish, keep in mind that it has to be durable under heat (polyurethane won’t deal with this too well.)
